SyncUp - What's your ETA? app for iPhone and iPad

Whats your ETA? How far are you? Did you leave yet?

This app answers some of these very common questions for you. Now instead of calling or texting other attendees about your or their status, all you have to do is create OR accept the event and rest everything will be handled by the app. The app will send push notifications to other attendees and update them about your status with respect to the event and vice-versa.

Most importantly, we do all this without ever sharing your location.

Some features that make our app awesome:
Simple Event Creation
Extremely simple one touch process for creating events and meetings. When you create the event you invite folks using SMS. Once event is created, you can invite folks at any time using email, other messaging apps or using social networks or by simply sending them the link.

Additionally SyncUp works with your calendar events and Facebook events. Simply enable them using settings gear on app home screen.

Privacy
If you have not accepted the event / are not attending it, we dont determine any ETA information. We provide your information only for the events that you are attending.

Location is never shared
We never share your location. We only share your ETA information. App only shares your ETA from 1 hour before the event till your arrival OR till 1 hour after the event start time.

Notifications
Once you accept the event, everything will be automated. You will be notified about status of all other attendees via notifications. So, if you dont want - you dont even have to open the app. The app will notify you about when is the best time for you to leave for the event. Youll also get notified about who is on the way or who has arrived at the event.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Battery Optimization
We optimize battery usage to not drain battery significantly. Further, if your battery is below 5%, we sacrifice accuracy for the sake of preserving battery.
